Ever wonder how much it costs to suit up a football player and put them on the field? The average cost to a team ranges from $600 to $2,000 per player. These fees include equipment, transportation, meals, Sport Clinic membership, and many other unseen costs. Football parents can be expected to pay participation fees over and above individual equipment fees for most extra curricular activities. A strong booster club, with parental involvement, reduces the costs for these fees, which range from $600 to over $2,000 per athlete.
Football, as with other extra curricular activities, is not funded by the school district. It falls on the shoulders of every parent to raise money for the players in our football program.
